Let’s Begin by learning a bit about you. Where are you from and how long have you been producing music as a profession?
I was born in Bursa, Turkey. My heart has been with music for as long as I can remember! I started very earlier producing music, I was only young but it has been in my blood even before I began. So it’s been around 8 years now but more professionally about 5.
How did you first get into DJing?
I started when I was only in my late teenage years. I first worked at a sound studio in Bursa, Turkey. After that I started to have a real interest about being a DJ and from there then producing, so I started to learn the art of Djing and producing music.
You’ve been to Croatia once before to play ULTRA EUROPE and Forestland Festival. Can you tell us about those experiences?
I had an incredible time! I love the country and I love the vibe the fans create at the festival! For me I can’t wait to return and look forward to coming back to experience one of the most beautiful countries in Europe! You have some amazing parties in the country so I would suggest to anyone who loves dance music to go and visit!
You’ve come a long way since being awarded the GQ Turkey “DJ of the Year”. It is an incredible recognition. Tell us about this experience.
Yes, winning ‘DJ of the Year’ for GQ Turkey is a crazy moment! To go from my early beginnings to being recognized in my home country for being a DJ is something very unique. I am still so happy about this. I celebrated with all my friends and family.
What was the most significant accomplishment in your career?
I think the GQ award has to be in my top ones because it is very special. Today I am still blown away by the incredible love and passion the fans have for my music. From YouTube to Spotify to being there at my shows, the amount of support they have shown me for my music is something I will never stop loving my fans for. That is the biggest dream I have ever wanted – to share my music with fans who love what I am doing in the studio and in the dj booth.
Music is a “language”. And this language unites people all over the world. From different cultures and different ethnicities. Here in Greece, Aegean sea is our physical border with Turkey, but also is our communication. How do you feel about your big success here in Greece?
I hold the country in a very special place in my heart. I love Greece and the Greek people. For me music is about sharing an experience. We live on a beautiful planet and to share the joys of music with other people means everything to me. Especially when you get the chance to do it in an amazing country like Greece! So having success in the country is a very big proud moment for me.
Feel. This is the title of your single that become viral on Greek Shazam for years and specifically on Summer Season. How do you feel about that and what are you planning to do next in Europe. Are we going to see something only for Greece?
Yes, its been a big record for me and many Greek fans have shown me so much love and support. I am looking forward to performing for my Greek fans so it should be a lot of fun to connect with them at my show. I hope to see you on the dancefloor!
